Watching, Saving Private Ryan right now. Only about half way through, but I like it.
I've only just gotten to the part where the mother is informed that three of her sons are dead, and I was a little annoyed at the lack of plot so far - mostly just extreme gore, but then I decided that this is war we're talking about - and war didn't really have a plot, so I sat back and actually started to enjoy the movie. I think that the detail is really good so far, and Tom Hanks is a wonderful actor - so I'm sure that he'll impress.
Plus, I'm starting to like the character Private Jackson, so I want to see what happens to him. :)
Anyway - a full review when the movie is finished! :)
